Nidhi

Nineteen-year-old Nidhi, a resident of Samastipur district, is today an emerging athlete at the State Sports Academy, Rajgir. Her passion for sports, her determination to never give up even in difficult circumstances, and her relentless hard work are continuously taking her to new heights.

Nidhi's family has a background in education and business. Her father runs a construction materials business, her mother is a teacher, and her elder brother is pursuing a B.Tech degree. Currently, Nidhi herself is studying Aeronautical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras).

Her connection with sports began at around the age of 10. She participated for the first time in athletic competitions held at her school and succeeded in winning a medal in her very first attempt. This achievement instilled confidence in her, and her teachers encouraged her to pursue sports further.
